The KNIT SAFARI Rainbow Loopy Cardi is part magical parrot, part rock ‘n roll, and a whole lot of fun to make and wear. Designed to be big, bold and in your face, but easy enough to customise with different colour choices. Try shades of one colour for a chunky cardigan with an ombré effect, or go for an understated statement in a single tone.

The Rainbow Loopy Cardi is worked seamlessly from the hem to the underarms, to reduce bulk as much as possible. The fronts and back are worked flat, and the sleeves are knitted in the round from the cuff to the shoulder. Instructions and a photo tutorial of the loopy stitch in included in the pattern. The hardest part? Picking the colours!

FIT: The Rainbow Loopy Cardi is an oversized fit. You may wish to knit a smaller size for a closer fit.

The adult model is a UK size 10-12 and is wearing the Rainbow Loopy Cardi in size medium.

SIZES: Adults from XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL (30-60” Bust)

Can't find this yarn near you, or not sure if the yarn in your stash will work? We always recommend that you knit a test swatch to check your gauge before starting out, and finding the right combination of needle size and type and yarn to match the gauge in the pattern.
