Big Orange Cardi - Downloadable Chunky Crochet Pattern

The KNIT SAFARI Big Orange Cardi was originally published on the cover of Crochet Now magazine in 2019 and designed to be an epically chunky must-have winter warmer. The oversized balloon sleeves are modern and fun, and the relaxed fit is perfect for chilly nights in front of the TV.

This DIY crochet pattern works up quickly, and the cuff-to-cuff construction will keep your interest piqued while the hook does all the heavy lifting. The Big Orange Cardi is worked seamlessly from cuff to body and seamed along the centre back, with hems and neckline trims worked at the end to finish it off.

FIT: The Big Orange Cardi is an extreme oversized fit. You may wish to knit a smaller size for a closer fit.

The adult model is a UK size 10-12 and is wearing the Bit Orange Cardi in size large.

SIZES: Adults from XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL (30-60” Bust)

YARN: 10 (12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 21, 24, 27) balls of Cygnet Yarns Seriously Chunky (100g; 48m (52 yds), or an equivalent Super Bulky yarn with 5-6 wpi (yarn estimates are approximate.)
